External Recruiting Agencies
Our preference at Equity Office Management, LLC, and its affiliates is to recruit candidates directly. Equity Office may, from time to time, seek assistance from temporary staffing agencies, placement services, and professional recruiters ("Agency"). Agencies are hereby specifically directed NOT to contact Equity Office employees directly in an attempt to present candidates. Equity Office’s Human Resources department must present ALL candidates to hiring managers.
To protect the interests of all parties, Equity Office will not accept unsolicited resumes from any source other than directly from a candidate. Any unsolicited resumes sent to Equity Office, including unsolicited resumes sent to an Equity Office mailing address, fax machine or email address, directly to Equity Office employees, or to Equity Office’s online resume database will be considered Equity Office property. Equity Office will NOT pay a fee for any placement resulting from the receipt of an unsolicited resume. Equity Office will consider any candidate for whom an Agency has submitted an unsolicited resume to have been referred by the Agency free of any charges or fees.
Agencies must obtain advance written approval from Equity Office’s Human Resources department to submit resumes, and then only in conjunction with a valid fully-executed Equity Office placement agreement and in response to a specific job opening. Equity Office will NOT pay any fees unless there is a signed Equity Office contract in place and Equity Office Human Resources has requested resumes in writing for a specific open position.
